Patriotic Walk

Carter is walking more and more on his own. Usually, he has his arms straight up but when he holds a toy - or flags he has a little more control. We were headed outside to throw some pop-its and continue our July 4th celebration.

Baldwin Park Fireworks

Our neighborhood had a fireworks show last night - we walked to the lake with our neighbors to enjoy the show.

Dylan, Madison, and Ben on their best behavior (seriously, what got into them?).


Dylan took a moment soon after this to let Brian and me know we were not to turn off his tv shows. Was super dramatic with the fireworks exploding in the background :)

If there was an edge to their seats, Dylan and Ben would be on the edge of it. So cute!

Carter surprised us and stayed up late enough for the show. I am not sure if the fireworks or flash made him flinch here!

Sparkler Fun

The 4th of July fun started after lunch yesterday - Dylan couldn't wait for dark to start playing with sparklers.
