Grady had his 9 month check up today. He is very healthy and growing well:
height: 28.25"
weight: 21 lbs, 3 oz.
At 9 months we have a very curious and very snuggly baby. Grady is getting into things and likes to mow down anything Dylan and Carter are playing with. He also has conquered the first step (see photos). We haven't let him get any farther, but he will crawl toward the steps at top speed and look back and laugh at us. He is going to be trouble!
Grady is experimenting with standing. When he is standing at the couch or a bed, he will occasionally lift both arms and test out "hands free." He also has a very cute dance with booty shake (ask Dylan to show it to you).
Grady is extremely snuggly. Everyone who holds him loves how he will snuggle his head on your shoulder. He also has (and knows it) a cute move where he snuggles on a pillow or blanket. He looks at us to all go to mush over him, which we do. He likes to put on a show :)
After making great progress trying foods, he seems to be on hiatus from eating solids. We have tried everything. He will take usually a single bite. Everything after that he will immediately spit out. I spoke too soon about no teeth last month - the next day I spied white spots on his bottom gums. Two bottom front teeth were there! Now we can see his top left tooth coming in. The right is very red so that should be arriving soon as well.
Grady does not sleep through the night. One day...
Here is our little troublemaker :)
