Carter at 6 Months

Happy half birthday to Carter! Yesterday he went for his 6 month check up. Here are his latest stats:

Height: 26.5 inches
Weight: 19 lbs, 4 oz.

At 6 months Carter is sitting up well, eating baby oatmeal and a variety of fruits and veggies (although not a big fan of greens), and trying to figure out how to crawl--he usually ends up on his belly flailing all extremities. He still loves big brother Dylan but is beginning to expand his laughter to dad and even mom a little. He is turning into a social boy and really enjoys playing near the other babies at daycare.

Of course everything he grabs ends up in his mouth. We call him 'Billy Goat' because he especially likes blankets/clothes/other fabrics. Unlike Dylan, he has not taken to his thumb. He was not sleeping through the night but had a recent comeback and did well the last 3 nights.

Carter is chubby :) We love his big cheeks and thighs.

Swim Refresher

Dylan went back to swim this past week to practice with Miss Jane. He picked right back up where he left off and did an amazing job! Here is a video clip of his float:

Carter is anti-nap. His morning nap was a whopping 5 minutes at daycare...9:55 to 10. We are proud!

Bible time...

The story of Jesus is an interesting challenge for Mom and Dad. Dyl helps out...Jesus "lives on the cross." Makes sense when you think about it.
